Corporate Partners

An important component of the organization is the corporate category of membership for the many companies/organizations providing products and services for rural hospitals. We understand that rural healthcare is a unique business. It takes special companies to work with small hospitals to provide the goods and services necessary to operate in this challenging environment.

Benefits for Hospital Members

We rely on the business leaders in our corporate membership to provide the education and information needed on technology, equipment improvements, and new products so that hospitals can operate more efficiently by making sound buying decisions.

TORCH provides its hospital members with a group of corporate members who are experienced in working with small hospitals, who know the special needs of rural areas, and who endeavor to provide valuable services.

Benefits for Corporate Members

TORCH devotes a full issue of its newsletter each year to focus exclusively on corporate members and highlight endorsed vendors.

In addition, an excellent benefit for companies is the opportunity to participate in the annual TORCH Conference of Rural and Community Hospitals, the largest educational, networking, and trade show in the Southwest especially for small and rural hospitals.

This meeting brings together hospital administrators, chief financial officers, executive officers and trustees for a three-day event and provides vendors with access to the buyers of health care products and services in a friendly, casual atmosphere. A Business and Industry Advisory Council advises the TORCH Board of Directors and staff about the association's vendor-related activities.

Corporate memberships by companies with interest in supporting rural and community hospitals are greatly appreciated. For more information regarding dues and qualifications, see the Membership Dues.
