TORCH regretfully announces that on July 22, 2006, John Francis Boff, present/CEO of the organization, passed away. He was an incredible asset to rural and small community hospitals in Texas and across the country.

Boff’s many achievements and contributions to the profession live on. TORCH is a major part of his enduring legacy and we want to thank you all for your continued support.

Everyone knows that TORCH truly was Boff’s pride and joy, so we will continue to dedicate our efforts to his memory and to his loving family.
