| The
knowledgeable TORCH staff provides friendly assistance in searching
for specific information and help when you need find answers you
are looing for.
Member hospitals receive
the updated and expanded Handbook for Members which contains a wealth
of valuable information: extensive information on how to contact
many entities involved in health care, as well as complete information
on TORCH's structure, board, and staff. Administrators and staff
benefit from this and the other resources by time saved in getting
answers and therefore improved job performance.

Because
rural hospitals sometimes lack the resources to develop all
the policies and procedures that are required in complicated
regulations, TORCH produces and provides a wide range of
documents, including a strategic planning manual, legal resource
handbook, a fraud and abuse compliance program manual, sample
hospital and physician agreements, and many other types of
sample policies and procedures. All of the samples give member
hospitals legal and ethical patterns to follow in developing
their own policies. These resources are valuable to administrators
and hospital staff because they increase industry knowledge
and personal education, and help them manage more effectively.
