Types of Membership


Membership in TORCH is available to general acute care hospitals with 150 or fewer beds. Individuals interested in rural community healthcare, as well as business and commercial organizations that share a common interest in rural healthcare, are also welcome to join.



Hospital (in state) General acute care hospital, less than 150 beds in size

  • Annual Gross Revenue is less than $10 million - $1,650
  • Annual Gross Revenue is $10 to $50 million - $2,750
  • Annual Gross Revenue is more than $50 million - $3,300



Hospital (out of state) General acute care hospital, less than 150 beds in size

  • Annual Gross Revenue is less than $10 million - $1,650
  • Annual Gross Revenue is $10 to $50 million - $2,750
  • Annual Gross Revenue is more than $50 million - $3,300



Corporate Business
  • Commercial or professional entity that provides products or services to rural and community hospitals - $1,000



Affiliate Healthcare systems
  • State agencies and other organizations interested/involved in rural community health care - $250
